The best way to determine that is based on how you respond to certain situations. I have never seen a giver become upset because they had no one to give anything to, but I have seen plenty of takers become upset because no one was giving them something they wanted. Givers are blessed, takers less so. Your underlining needs may be a result of your underwhelming propensity to give. It has been my experience, those that need the most give the least. You have to understand I am not talking about money. Although, I suppose in some ways that would apply. For instance, those who feel like they are misunderstood often don’t take a lot of effort to understand others. People who feel like they have no friends typically don’t go out of their way to be friendly. In a lot of ways we control our own destiny because we possess the power to invest into the things today that we can thrive off of in the future.
Don’t be misled–you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
